How do disable daily annoying notification from Fitbit (Inspire HR)

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I have my Inspire HR for more than a year and for the last few months, it's showing so many notifications in the day and I don't know how to stop or turn it off. Those are the messages:

Fitbit don't let the day get away - take a minute away from screen or any stresses ...
Fitbit Long day? Your body thrives on water and the good news is...
Fitbit Get in the Zone! Time spent in your cardio heart rate zone earns you double the Active Zone Minute
Fitbit Kickstart your metabodism by eating a low-sugar breakfast...

Fitbit Good morning: thirsty after sleep? ...
Fitbit It may not seem like it at the time, but you accomplished a lot yesterday. ...
Firbit We all get a little help from our friends or family...

Worst of all, my Inspire HR is not qualified for Active Zone Minute, but I keep receiving the message and there is no help-article on how to disable it. these keep popping up everyday and my watch is out of battery very soon. I have unsubcribed/unfollowed all groups and programs but it doesn't help at all. I'm getting to the point that I will remove all data and throw this watch away. Does anyone know how to disable it ?

Sorry, I can't figure it out. And looks like nobody knows.

After making a research, I believe that with our Inspire HR watch, the mobile app hides some features (like Active Zone Minute feature) that fitbit company thinks we can't use it. However, to turn off these notifications, we need to access to these features first. So somehow all the notifications are on by default with/without showing these features.

Of course this is just my assumption and it may be a bug. We can contact the company and log it as a bug, wait for the updates, or give up using this watch. My friend has a similar issue and he just bought the watch from other company since his battery is almost dead. And I just leave the watch aside. Inspire HR is one of the lower-price product from the company so I doubt they will care.

I have been racking my brain Googling and disabling things, too.  I actually have this same issue but it is on my brand new Charge 4!  This is the only mention I have seen of this issue anywhere on the internet.

I am going to post in the Charge 4 forum about it, I'll let you know if I get any feedback!

* Edit, here is my post!  I just copied yours and updated it to represent my situation: https://community.fitbit.com/t5/Charge-4/How-can-I-disable-the-annoying-daily-reminders-notification... *

Hi there,

I just purchased a Charge 4, and it's showing so many notifications in the
day and I don't know how to stop or turn it off (examples below). These
keep popping up everyday and my watch is out of battery very soon. I have
unsubscribed/unfollowed all groups and programs but it doesn't help at all.
I'm getting to the point that I will remove all data and throw this watch
away.

I cannot find a no help-article on how to disable these. Does anyone know
how to disable them?!

These are the messages:

"Fitbit don't let the day get away - take a minute away from screen or any
stresses ..."

"Fitbit Long day? Your body thrives on water and the good news is..."

"Fitbit Get in the Zone! Time spent in your cardio heart rate zone earns
you double the Active Zone Minute"

"Fitbit Kickstart your metabolism by eating a low-sugar breakfast..."

"Fitbit Good morning: thirsty after sleep? ..."

"Fitbit It may not seem like it at the time, but you accomplished a lot
yesterday. ..."

"Fitbit We all get a little help from our friends or family..."

Cheers,

I see. So this may be a bug or a new feature that Fitbit company thinks everybody will love it and applies to all watches. I'm surprised that not many people post in the forum (yet).

Yes, please do what you need to do and let me know the fix if you can find any. Thanks

That's my thinking as well.  I will keep you posted!  I also sent an email to their technical support.

I will report back if I hear anything!  🙂

In the app/on the sync menu (where clock faces and apps reside), scroll down past what's initially visible to Health & Wellness Reminders. On my Versa 2, the "it may not seem like it at the time" messages were removed by turning off "moment of mindfulness". Hope this works for you, too.

Sorry I just checked on my phone app and couldn't find 'Health & Wellness Reminders', there is only Activity & Wellness but I don't see 'moment of mindfulness' anywhere

I clicked on the versa icon. Then went to the page with reminders.

For anyone that has this similar issue, Fitbit just updated their app (Android version). Now we have 2 new buttons on Notifications

- Programs: Messages from your Programs that help you stay on track.

- Social Feed: Feed activity from friends and groups you follow

And they are both on by default, simply turn if off and all the messages are gone.
