How reliable is the heart rate monitor for people?

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

On an indoor bike I can cycle for 3 minutes or so and the monitor stays at 70-80bpm despite the bike showing 120+bpm also when I take the fitbit off my wrist it will continue to show a 70-80bpm display (below) is this normal or should I be getting it replaced?

Hi @Loofer While I don't necessarily trust a bike's HRM, it does sound like something is a bit off. I use an Inspire 2 everyday, as well as a Apple Watch (don't ask why I wear both!). I find them very much in sync and accurate. Are you finding that your readings are only off during exercise or all the time? Before reaching out to support, I'd start with a simple restart of the device. https://help.fitbit.com/manuals/inspire_2/Content/manuals/html/Update,%20Restart,%20and%20Erase.htm. I hope that helps.
