So today I have run 5k, mowed the lawn for 1 hour, cleaned part of the house for 30 mins and been grocery shopping. On the way home from shopping I went to the post office and picked up my new Fitbit Inspire HR.
I was very excited to set it up and log today’s activities which went successfully until I got to grocery shopping...
i know if I’d been wearing my Fitbit I could have customized an exercise for my shopping while it was tracking, but I didn’t have it yet and was logging exercise done - but grocery shopping is not on the list!
Today I had a heavy cart with softener salt and dog food and other big items - each one had been loaded and unloaded to the cart, at the checkout, to the car, into the house and put away. My heart was pumping so I know it was a good workout.
So I’m putting the suggestion out there that grocery shopping is added to the activity list so we can get credit for our efforts - please!

Hi @Essjay203 nice to see you around. Welcome to the Community Forums.
Thanks a million for sharing this information with us, I can see that each step is really important for you. As you have mentioned at this moment there is no option on the Fitbit app to add this type of activities, but you can try to log it as a custom activity from the Fitbit.com dashboard using any browser of your phone. Please check the instructions here and let me know how it goes.
I'll be around.
