Hey,
I saw a post (link below) that said that you can change the date format from MM/DD to the international format DD/MM.
I have tried what the post said but it doesn't work for me for some reason. Please see my screenshot for the settings I have set in the fitbit.com dashboard.
Is this just a bug or am I missing something?
Thanks for your help.

@Mk4y I saw that you also posted in another thread. I have flagged the other thread to try to get a moderator to help you all.

@Mk4y Welcome! It's great to see you around! Sorry for the delay in my reply.
Let me help you with your time settings. I have seen other members comment that using the UK doesn't let them us the international mode. Try selecting a different European country and see if this helps see the time in the desired mode.
@LZeeW thank you for your help here.
Let me know how it goes.

Hi there! I’m also having the same problem with date appearing as MMDD instead of DDMM on my brand new Inspire HR, and I have my Timezone set to Sydney, and my language to English (Australian).
Thanks!

I'm also a new user and finding the date very frustrating. I've tried changing what country I'm registered to, which version of English I'm using and changing timezones and none of them seem to change my options. It seem silly to need to change that in order to access the setting when Brits use the "international" date version. Maybe something needs changing on the Fitbit end to allow us to use it, since that is how we format our dates here?

I have spoken with the Fitbit Help desk and they confirmed that the Charge 3 can only support the US date format, the international date format is NOT supported at this time.

What is the 30th month? I thought there was only 12!
How about this for an idea? Default to international format for new products. If you decide that localised date format is worth the effort then you can add US date format. Wouldn't that make more sense? It would also give you a better idea as to whether people care about this or not as you will get a lot more feedback in the US.

I agree. The date format is WRONG and so UNSUITABLE for INTERNATIONAL use. I won't be using it as a watch and therefore I doubt I will use it for any length of time now. A 2020 gift that has turned out to be worse than my original 1980s CASIO. Shows how arrogant this American company is.

For those of you still hacked off about the date format, you could try changing the clock to "Just Time".
This is still US format but shows as "Jan 03", which at least has the decency to remind you it is in the wrong format.

Thank you Poppa57! Much better solution that actually works well.
For those new to Fitbit Inspire HR, please note that to change the time config, you can't do it from the watch, you have to access the Fitbit app on your mobile device which is already synced to the Fitbit and then hit "Today" after working out how to show "Today", then attempt to scroll down until at the top you see the Inspire HR battery indicator icon, hit that battery icon, hit "Clock Faces", hit "All Clocks" tab (it's greyed out with an inactive appearance but still works - which doesn't follow convention for tabs), then scroll down to the "Just Time" icon. If your Fitbit is setup to sync, the selected time format will auto set.
So, given I couldn't find a straight-forward preferences or settings icon to do the above, nor can it be changed via the watch device itself, after I spent time lost in a nightmare of areas, we all have to be either clairvoyants or mind-readers to muddle our way through a very non-intuitive collection of software. My background is database and software development, so I would have put a direct "Settings" access at the base with "Discover", "Today" and "Community". Anyway, hopefully the above will help those would are trying to work out how to find "Just Time". Maybe this should be the default. Then I just completed a Fitbit requested survey and once again realised how out-of-touch this company is. They seem to think everything can be left to others and they're very clever at engineering responses they want to hear.

You are welcome. Glad I could help.
Also glad to see I am not the only one who finds it difficult to navigate around the app. I thought it was just me.

Yes, I think mine will be going back shortly. It has just stopped syncing.
With the amount of time I am having to spend just trying to get the thing to work I don't have time to take any exercise anyway so there isn't much point in having it.
I will return to using my Unchained Warrior device which has always just worked.

Same story - I'm based in UK and DO NOT WANT US MM/DD format - makes no sense here. I've changed my language to Netherlands(Engles) and Netherlands and get the DD/MM format. However, everytime I recharge the Fitbit or sync online, it automatically reverts to UK and therefore to the MM/DD format. This is incredibly annoying.
Please will you get a software update sorted ASAP? Other Fitbit models don't have this problem and I really regret my purchase now...

What? The Netherlands has the correct format but UK doesn't? That's super weird. Maybe they don't consider the Netherlands to be part of Planet America.

Really?. We buying a watch which has an International standard and still staying that not able to change the date format from MM/DD to DD/MM. This is so rude I didn't expect this from the Fitbit developer.

I'm new to fitness trackers. Just bought Inspire HR at 63 yo.
I chose this after reading reviews etc. But now I find there is a severe lack of apps or support. I can't even get the date to read right. What a load of cr*p.
Going to send it back and buy something else.

This is great, but I don’t have to inspire HR, I only have the regular inspire. Will it still work??

I sent my device back and got a refund many months ago as there were too many faults so I am not sure, but am fairly sure it was an Inspire and not the HR so it should work for you.
