How to change the time in the Inspire HR?

How can you change the time on the Fitbit inspire HR? I’ve looked through the user manual, I’ve synced it with my iPhone and I’m no wiser…. It must be possible!

You can't manually set the time, but it should reset itself whenever it syncs to your phone based on the time on that device. Are you sure your Fitbit is syncing to the app on your iPhone ok?

The other thing that affects the time is the time zone in your profile. You can check yours at https://www.fitbit.com/settings/profile If you do change it then you'll need to sync again to update your fitbit.

@Barlowis I hope you're doing well!

Just like @SteveH said you need to change the timezone in order to change the time on your tracker. You can follow the instructions in this help article to do in multiple platforms.

Hope this helps.

Try going to Fitbit app (I used Fitbit: Health & Fitness), tap open.  Tap on upper Left corner  (picture of headphones). Now tap Inspire if that's what you have. Tap sync now & it should correct time, steps etc. I hope this was helpful.

I have Android  and I  changed time zone but it won't sync at all. I have to subtract 7 hours from the time and reset the steps in the morning and then at 5 pm it zeros out my steps.  This since the soft update last week.

@HilaryS123 thank you for adding your suggestions to this thread.

@Jpb94577 it seems that the issue isn't the settings but the tracker not syncing (so the changes aren't saved on your account). You can try the following:

  1. Go to your phone's bluetooth settings and remove all devices listed there.
  2. Restart your phone and restart your device
  3. Check that no battery saving app/feature on your phone is affecting your Fitbit app.
  4. Also, on an Android device, check that your app has the necessary permissions (settings > apps > Fitbit > permissions) and make sure bluetooth and location services (GPS) are on.
  5. You can find troubleshooting instructions here.

Hope this helps.
