How to close my Fitbit account?

Oh my God

 

Please close my Fitbit account, I don't want to do anything with Fitbit anymore! Please no!

Please do not post in all caps, @SunsetRunner . I can help you. From a browser, go to Fitbit.com

  • Log in to your account. 
  • Tap the gear icon at the top, right of the screen.
  • From there, tap Settings.
  • Scroll down to the bottom of the screen and tap Delete Account.

If you have problems with this, you can contact Support

Dear Carol,

 

unfortunately I can't. Fitbit server tells me (now since months!!!) that there is a problem with the server. And I can't do anything!

@SunsetRunner A warm welcome to the Fitbit Community. I appreciate the details mentioned and the screenshots attached. 

 

It seems you're unable to delete your Fitbit account because you're not seeing the gear icon. Please clear cookies and cache and then follow this procedure to delete your Fitbit account.

I did close my browser. I emptied everything history, websites, passwords. Complete swap!

 

But I still can't see the gear icon?

 

I just need an admin to delete my account. Please. I keep getting the issue that there is a problem with the servers. But that has been going on for MONTHS!!! now!

 

Please I had so much of the notification e-mails.. I want everything to be gone.. Why is it not easy?

@SunsetRunner - lets try a different approach. Instead of using the browser and looking for the gear icon, do this from your phone - Open the Fitbit app then follow the steps below.
