I first received an free Fitbit through my insurance company.  The model was an Inspire 2.  I had immediately had problems with it so I went to Support through Fitbit,  The Inspire 2 could not be fixed so Google sent me a refurbished Inspire 2.  There were so many issue with the replacement Fitbit sent me another.  In the meantime I went ahead and bough myself a Charge 6.  I've had absolutely no problems with this new watch and I love it. But Fitbit Support thought I should received another refurbished Inspire 2.  It came today but I have no use for it as the Charge 6 is a much better device.  I'd like to gift the refurbished Inspire 2 to a friend who can't afford to buy one herself.  How do I gift it so that it can be activated and synced to her phone not mine?

@Littleolelady there's nothing special that you need to do. Just give it to her and tell her to pair it with the Fitbit app on her mobile device.

Thank you for your quick response. I had a lot of back and forth with the
broken Fitbits through my insurance company but the Support team was always
polite and tried to be helpful.

I'm going to see this woman on Christmas Eve and I'll give it to her then
and show her how to use it. She and I both started eating healthy and
exercising at the same time. I think the Fitbit provides valuable
information that will keep her motivated. At least that's how I feel about
myself and my Fitbit.

Again, thank you so much for your quick response. I look forward to
becoming more intune with the Fitbit Community.
