How to restore the "Notifications" app on Inspire HR

Hello, I had a "Notifications" app appear on my Inspire HR on-screen menu after the most recent firmware update. I deleted it (using the iOS app) because at that point I didn't use notifications and wanted to reduce the menu clutter on the watch.

 

However, now I'm using notifications again and tried to re-install the app, but there's no option to do that. A reset of the watch itself also didn't help.

 

How can I restore the Notifications app? Thank you.

FYI, this has been fixed in a more recent software update. I was able to reinstall the notifications.

You can try the following steps to add an app:

 

  1. With your device nearby, in the Fitbit app, tap the Today tab > your profile picture > your device image.
  2. Tap Apps > All Apps.
  3. Browse the available apps. When you find the one you want to install, tap it.
  4. Tap Install.

After uninstalling it, the Notifications app no longer appears in the menu under "all apps". There is no obvious way to reinstall it. I tried resetting the FitBit to factory settings, but that also didn't make it reappear.

 

I assume that this is a software bug that can only be fixed by re-flashing the latest Firmware. How can I do that?

Notifications themselves are working. This thread is about the new "Notifications" app that was added with the latest firmware.
