How to stop reminders like 'put your records on!' about active zone minutes

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

For some reason I seem to have switched on these notifications which tell me to out music on to get in the active zone, some give me the same fact that minutes spent in cardio mean I get double the active minutes. I get about two of these a day, but I'd like to know how to stop them. I've just switched the reminders to move on so I don't want both of these types of notifications coming through, and all of the wellness reminders are switched off so it's not anything to with that.

If anyone could tell me what these notifications are and how I switch them off that would be great !

This did not help. These are exactly the steps I have tried 50+ times.

As I've pointed out to Fitbit support on several occasions: the "Health & Wellness Reminders" option doesn't exist in my app. Yes, I have checked many many times (I know every menu in the Fitbit app off by heart at this stage!). Yes, I have the latest version of the app installed.

I appreciate that debugging different versions of the app to figure out why these options are present in some but not others takes time, but why not make these options also available via the browser dashboard? The unwanted notifications are seriously disruptive, and I've started missing actual message notifications because I now tune out notifications from my Fitbit around the times I know I'll get these stupid reminders.

These problems have been going on for months. Do better, Fitbit!

As mentioned by dozens of people here, the "get your heart pumping" option does not always appear and so cannot be readily switched off.

How about if fitbit fix that flakiness in the app?

Oh, how weird!!  I went into that place in the app like 4x, and there were only three headings/options (mindfulness, nutrition, and wellness), and all three were disabled.  It just so happens your specifics on the "activity" heading (thanks!!) prompted me to go into that area a few more times to re-check, since I wasn't seeing that option, and thought I was losing my mind or something (lol).  Eventually, like some random fluke, that activity header (with "get your heart pumping" option under it) showed up, and was enabled...so I was finally able to disable it... And then the option DISAPPEARED again!!  🤦‍:male_sign:. If I keep going in, eventually the option randomly shows up here and there, but it's very random.  I hit the sync button and went in, and then the option showed up, so maybe that has something to do with it?  Regardless, there's clearly yet another bug with this functionality, and God knows how much time other Fitbit users have wasted with this crap.  😕

Now you DON'T see it...

...and NOW ya DO!

Exactly my experience! Based on the moderator it sounds like "this is just
how it is," which is disappointing bc it seems like such a minor fix.

Hi @SilviaFitbit thanks for the update.

I have notifications switched off on my phone whilst driving so I can fully concentrate on driving. However frequently when driving my FitBit vibrates telling me to ‘put my records on’. Sometimes it goes through several vibration cycles consecutively telling me to additionally ‘get in the zone’ as well as putting my record on whilst driving. Not allowing these notifications to be disabled is plain dangerous.

Please can you could request this issue is escalated at FitBit. I would expect this issue to not be addressed with a budget fitness tracker brand but not FitBit! Customers buy FitBit because of quality product, functionality and support. FitBit/Google are market leaders and this must be simple - if prioritised.

Thank you

The Charge 4 users are right. there is no Activity. But if you exit the Health and Wellness Reminders, then click in the sync button for the watch and enter again , it appears Activity. Finally. It almost destroyed my nerves.

I went in and out 4 times before it came up. No rhyme or reason. So to recap, go to the device, scroll down, go to and out of the health and wellness settings at least four times, eventually the "get your heart pumping" option will appear and you can turn it off. Oh and BTW, I can't seem to bring it back up to turn on again if I wanted to. But I don't so. Fitbit please fix!

Yes. Enter and then exit and sync the watch and then enter and exit... As
many times as you need until it appears. I will attach the printscreen.

Write me if it helps

Have a good night

THIS! THIS! You have to go back and forth in this setting and SOMETIMES it magically appears. Other times it is not. I finally had one where it appeared and turned it off. I HOPE THIS WORKS. But this bug needs to be fixed. The setting isn't always there like in MaximillianC's screenshots show.

Same exact thing for me!!!

Keep trying... As you can read above it is a game of luck... Try also to synchronise your fitbit with the app when you are trying

Chiming in to say I had the same issue with these notifications and no way to turn them off with a Charge 4 on iOS. I bounced between opening the app, Sync Now, opening the Health & Wellness Reminders page, then force closing the app. It probably took around 10 cycles of this until I saw the toggle and was finally able to turn it off.

Thanks for the tips everyone!

I've been trying regularly for weeks and every now and again, I can get the Health & Wellness Reminders to show up after multiple cycles of opening, syncing and closing the app. BUT (yes, there's a but) when I actually open it, there are no settings, only a note saying something like "turn on notifications of Fitbit to your phone to receive reminders" - I have notifications turned on so I have no idea what's going on there.
