How to sync my Inspire HR on my laptop?

I still don't understand how to sync my Fitbit HR. It syncs sometimes but I don't know how. I tried with downloading the app on my iPad but it gives me a message that my iPad is not paired. I don't know how to do that either

Hi @Mist59  which Fitbit do you have? Most of the devices use a smartphone to sync and to set up.

My operating system on my Laptop is Windows 8.1

Inspire HR can be synced with Computers running Windows 8, and 8.1. Dongle is required for syncing and setup since there's no Bluetooth support. Download Fitbit Connect for Windows and iOS at: fitbit.com/global/us/setup

I don't see here to download the Fitbit connect for Windows 8.1 in the link that you provided. It only shows the download for Windows 10 link

Yes, sadly it’s only compatible with Windows 10 computers and MacOS
