There is no feature to make the screen of the Fitbit Inspire HR brighter. You can try to change your clock face to see if there is any improvement. For instructions, please visit this article. 

 

Your question about the heart rate icon is cut off. You can find information about the meaning of the different heart icons in this article in the menu "What are heart-rate zones?".
