I can't set up my son's Fitbit Inspire

My son's Inspire was working, and now it does not connect with Bluetooth and I can't set it up on the computer.  Is it no longer compatible with the app?

We are extremely frustrated!

I'm curious what you mean by it was working.  But it sounds like you didn't have it connected to an account.  If that correct?

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.

It was connected, but stopped working so I removed it from his account.  I thought if I removed it and set it up again that it would work.  I was wrong.

We had it set up to the account, then it would sync on the homepage and not
the Workweek Hustle Challenge. We tried to log in and log out, and then the
fitbit would no longer work with the device

@CGROSE It's nice to have you on board!

Let me help you with this and thank you for troubleshooting this issue. If the syncing issue persists then you can try the following:

  1. Go to your phone's bluetooth settings and remove all devices listed there.
  2. Restart your phone and restart your device
  3. Check that no battery saving app/feature on your phone is affecting your Fitbit app.
  4. Also, on an Android device, check that your app has the necessary permissions (settings > apps > Fitbit > permissions) and make sure bluetooth and location services (GPS) are on.
  5. You can find troubleshooting instructions here.

@JohnnyRow thank you for helping clarifying the issue.

Hope this helps.
