I just want to be able to see how much sleep I've had each night. Now it's defaulted to some babyish sleep profile with sleep animals (seriously?!). It also requires me to open it before it recognizes I'm awake. It said I slept 9 hours yesterday when I only slept 5. This has occurred since the update. How do I get it to return to just tracking my sleep? And stop with the coddling nonsense - we're adults.

Hi, @DrDina , I am a little puzzled by your post. I am pretty sure I get the same sleep info day to day - the “sleep animal” is just a monthly update. I have to admit I don’t much care for the animal they have chosen for me, but I do seem to still get the usual sleep info day to day - I have taken the animal as a bit of extra fluff. (And I learned something about the dolphin brain…)

After my recent update, 3 of the functions I us d are no longer there. It no longer provides heart rate, active minutes or sleep calculations. Instead, all I have is a monthly sleep calculator with a sleep animal. I just want my basic features back.

I hate this feature so much. It feels like it’s built for kindergartners. And I don’t need you rubbing in my face for an entire month how poorly I slept last month. Making me feel bad about my sleep pattern, is not gonna help me sleep better. And I don’t want to have to scroll past a stupid cartoon for an entire month to see my actual stats. The sleep scores mean squat and I never consistent and now this garbage.
I’m so glad Apple Watch is close to getting better sleep profile because I’m so sick of this company. Fitbit may be the best trackers, but their software, and user experience continue to get worse and worse. (This site included, as it just asked me to complete a survey while I was in the middle of typing a comment.)

The recent firmware update borked the settings for some people. Check if heart rate monitoring is on (in the inspire 2 settings when you scroll up to the gear icon, tap it and then it should be down just a couple) and that the device is set to on wrist (when you hold the side buttons and get the secret settings that has water lock at the top, scroll down to find on wrist or on clip, make sure it is set to on wrist).
