so today I got a fitbit inspire hr in the mail, was free through my health care. So far I enjoy it and would like to keep using it but seems it doesn't seem that accurate at least not for me.  I been using the windows 10 app since I have no phone. some of the issues I am having so far are.

Screenshot

In the screenshot you can see everything but the weight, I blotted that out , out of embarrassment but my main concern is there is no way I burned over 3k calories today considering I was stuck in bed from a bad arthritis flairup today and was barely able to get out of bed.

The second concern is, there is no way I I walked 300 plus steps today just going from the bedroom to the bathroom, from the bedroom to the kitchen. there is no way those steps equal to 380 steps.

The third issue is when I click on the heart rate I get a blue screen saying no heart rate recorded

is a screenshot of that.

It just seems this thing isn't that accurate and kinda puts me off to it.

The Calories burned are your BMR

Your fitbit also calculates calories burned for your BMR. You burn calories just by being alive! Even Sleeping. Fitbit includes these burned calories in it's calorie calculations, so even if you did not wear the fitbit, you'll still burn these calories.
