I'm in Japan but I'm not Japanese

I moved to Japan a few weeks back and my Fitbit Inspire HR has concluded that I must be Japanese and keeps changing my profile to Japanese language. I update it back to English and even had to set my home as Australia but once saved and logged out, I get the dreaded Japanese language set back. I have gone through the process (via the website) at least 5-6 times and keep scoming back. I even downloaded a VPN to make my PC think I'm in Australia and made the change but yep, once I've logged out, my FitBit APP on the iPhone X flags a language change. Never had this issue with my Fitbit Alta HR.

Hi @noelsy   When I have heard of this issue previously it has been the language on the phone that has been the problem. I assume that your primary phone language is set to English. So check that the secondary language on your phone is NOT set to Japanese. I have no idea where you find the second language setting as I am not an iPhone person. Good luck!

Nelly, you’re a champion .. I removed Japanese as a second language option and for good measure, changed the region setting to Australia and FitBit App removed the update ready to switch back to Japanese.
