Am using Fitbit for Mac.  Go to Dashboard > Log > Activities > Activity History > View History (for any day of activity).  The bottom item is "Impact".  What is this, and what does it all mean?

I have a Inspire HR and the IOS app on my phone.

Impact is how that that activity contributed to total day; i.e. the impact of that activity on daily total.

For instance - Impact:  3,326 of 9,817 steps taken, means

that activity was 3,326 steps and full day had 9,817 steps.

But what does impact mean?  How does it impact steps taken? Why don't all steps taken have impact?  What's the difference between impact and non-impact?  Still doesn't explain.

It is telling the impact of the steps of that particular workout on the day's total.  Yes, all steps have equal impact, but that is just showing the impact of that  particular workout.

Worded differently: how much did that workout contribute to day's total?
