Incorrect distance recorded with Fitbit app and GPS

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

My Fitbit is showing incorrect pace and distance. I did a 6km run today and it showed up as 4km. I did the same run awhile ago and it showed up correctly. It isn't the phones GPS because I used samsung health at the same time and it recorded 6km. It also shows a lot slower pace than reality.

Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

@willo3 It's nice to have you on board! Sorry for the delay in my reply.

Let me help you with your with the distance discrepancy you are seeing on your Fitbit app. I suggest you try refreshing the link between your phone and your tracker by doing the following:

  1. Go to your phone's bluetooth settings and remove all devices listed there.
  2. Restart your phone and restart your device
  3. Check that no battery saving app/feature on your phone is affecting your Fitbit app.
  4. Also, on an Android device, check that your app has the necessary permissions (settings > apps > Fitbit > permissions) and make sure bluetooth and location services (GPS) are on.
  5. You can find troubleshooting instructions here.

Let me know how it goes.
