Increase in resting heart rate with Inspire HR

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I have had my InspireHR for nearly a year now, I am relatively fit and healthy my resting heart rate fell to under 60 and stayed there for some time. However recently it’s shot right up to over 70! My fitness levels haven’t changed nor has my training! I wondered whether anyone else had a similar issue with their Fitbit or whether there is something else that’s increasing my heart rate!

TIA

@Rach1112 It's nice to have you on board!

Let me help you with your increased resting heart rate. There are many factors that could affect this reading. An increase in caffeinated drinks, bad or less sleep time and even stress could increase your heart rate which will affect your resting heart rate data. Remember that all your hr data (wake and sleep time) is used for this calculation as you can read here. Still if you wish you can clean the back of your device with cotton and rubbing alcohol and restart it. Turn the heart rate off, save and sync then turn it on save and sync again. Also check these tips to improve the heart rate reading on your device.  Make sure you are tracking your sleep nightly too.

If think there is more for this heart rate increase please consult your doctor but try to discard external factors like your food consumption and explained above.

Let me know how it goes.
