Inpsire2 Syncing but app only showing a fraction of steps on device

My device is showing steps correctly. My iPhone app syncs OK but shows a much lower number of steps, e.g. right now my device shows 4111 steps, my app shows 652.

I’ve tried combinations in differing order of:

reboot device

switch Bluetooth off & on

close app & reopen

logout & login app 

switch phone off & on

Manual syncs

Nothing has fixed it. Any ideas?
