The subject line says it. I got this device (Inspire 2) so I could keep track of my heart rate while running and biking, but I can’t read the numbers without my reading glasses. You can get a clock face with large digits for the time—why not for the heart rate instead? The more I think about this, the more incensed I become. You can get a clock face with a cat, owl, raccoon, cow, or ant (!), but you can’t display the heart rate so that you can read it while exercising. This makes the device next to useless.

@Foonman , A warm welcome to the Community! Thank you for your message and your feedback regarding the font size for the stats on the Inspire 2.
There are clock faces, that show you your stats big on the clock face.
On most of the clock faces, you can tap on it to change the stat shown. Have you already tried that?
If that is not what you need or desire, I invite you to leave a feature suggestion.
We're constantly striving to improve Google and Fitbit products and services, and we appreciate all of the input we receive from our customers. The best place to make your voice heard is the Feature Suggestion board on our community (community.fitbit.com/t5/Feature-Requests/idb-p/features).
If a similar suggestion has already been made by another member of the community, you can vote for their suggestion and add your comments.
Thanks for your feedback and for participating in our community!

Thanks for your reply. Maybe you missed my point. I understand that some clock faces show stats (I’m using one) but they all seem to use the same very small font. You said “There are clock faces, that show you your stats big on the clock face.” If so, which ones?? Please tell me. Even the heart rate display uses the same small font. It’s too small—I can’t read it without my reading glasses, which is not practical while running or biking. I don’t think I’m unique here—many people have less than perfect closeup vision (including many who are over 50) but still want to track their heart rate during exercise.
Just make an option to display the heart rate in a BIG FONT (like those used for minutes on some clock faces). I’ll add this suggestion to the Feature Suggestion board as you suggest.

@Foonman , Thank you for reply and further feedback. I get where you come from. I myself use glasses and start needing them also for reading.
Have you tried the "Performance" or " Valerie" clock faces?
They helped me with the stats
Thank you for taking the time to post the suggestion on the Feature suggestion board.
We appreciate your feedback.

Yes, I've tried them both. They are just a tiny bit larger than the others, but not enough to help (maybe 4.5 pt font instead of 4pt??).
Admittedly the "screen" is small, but you have clock faces which display four large, readable digits--much larger than those used for the stats. Why not have a way to display the stats in a similar large font? Looking over the Feature suggestion board, it's obvious that users have been asking for this for quite some time. It would be an easy software tweak--just take one of the clock faces and replace the large digits currently used for time with three digits for the heart rate.
Given that users have been suggesting this for years, it appears that Fitbit has no interest in making their products useful to people with less than perfect eyesight. I've said my piece; probably I'll just give up on Fitbit and try to find another device which is actually useful.

I open the app on my phone and read HR on the phone; but I use a stationary bike, so that's easily done. Agreed, you can't read the HR on the device, but you can read the time. I bugs me when the hardware is there, but they dropped the ball writing the code. Update! Easy fix!! But, yeah, not gonna happen...
