Inspire 2 How to Return to Main Menu After Swim

After I swim, I tap twice on my Inspire 2 to unlock it from the Water Lock option. I then try to indicate that my swim is finished, but when I press the sides as it requests me to do, it brings me to a Quick Set Menu and does not give me the option to Finish and Close the Swim exercise tracker to return to the main menu. Sometimes it takes several minutes and I have to take the watch off to try to get it to respond correctly.

@SaratogaSarah   IMHO, the Inspire 2 won't win any design awards.  The buttons are really, really cranky.  I think you are holding the buttons a little too long.  My Inspire 2 is set to On Clip and I don't use its Exercise app.  But I tried starting and ending some exercises with it.  A very light touch will go to the correct screen.  Pressing and holding just a little too long goes to the Quick Settings.  Not my favorite.

Thank you for the response. I think you were absolutely right about using a light touch. You are also right about the design problems. Inspire 2 has some fundamental drawbacks. The buttons aren't really buttons. The swim tracker will have me ending in odd number taps, which would put me on the opposite side of the pool then where I started. It's also hard to read the face of the watch in daylight necessitating that I have to find a shady spot. I don't need a tracker that gives me a multitude of info even if it also makes a good cup of coffee. I just want a simple tracker that will provide the most helpful information.
