Inspire 2 - Steps lost from exercise and not recording distance

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

Since the update, when I start a walk it records my steps but when I end the activity it erases them.  Example today I went on a 33 minute walk, visually had over 3600 steps but when I ended the activity it diverted to 375 steps, yet I had 21 minutes of activity.  Plus, the GPS shows only one block on the map...

What is going on?

@chetz66 , A warm welcome to the Community! Thank you for your message !

Regarding the step count, it seems that you might have MobileTrack on.
MobileTrack uses the phone's sensors to count steps. This is for when you have left your Fitbit at home (e.g. while charging). Please make sure MobileTrack is not activated.
It may happen that the steps recorded with the cell phone overwrite those from your Inspire 2

  • In the Fitbit app, tap the devices icon (top left corner).
  • There you will see the devices linked to your account.
  • If you see the Mobile Device  Active(Smartphone)  option, tap it and remove it from the account.

Regarding the distance missing.

Our team is aware of the situation and is working on a solution to it.

Many users have now confirmed that they were able to fix it by entering the stride length themselves. It's worth a try until our team has worked on the solution.
You can find instructions for this here:Can I change my stride length in my Fitbit account?
