I have had my Inspire 2 for a little over 2 years now and have never had a problem. I started swimming wearing the Fitbit (I checked beforehand if this was possible and read lots of articles which all agreed it was) and after a couple of weeks, my Fitbit stopped charging. I restarted the device, cleaned the charger points on the watch with water and a toothbrush, cleaned the charger with rubbing alcohol and finally last night it started to charge. However, now it won't hold the charge and dies almost instantly. Is there anything else I can do to solve this?

Hi there,
The Why isn't my Fitbit device's battery charging? link is leading me to an appropriate page, however every other link I have read seems to just recommend restarting, cleaning and charging through different ports all of which i've tried with no success. I have also read the article about extending battery life but this isn't of use as my fitbit isn't holding any charge at all. Hopefully there is more I can do to solve this.
Thanks,
Lauren
