Whenever my Fitbit inspire 2 is on the table (not wearing it in evening time), the band assumes that I am sleeping and hence the sleep hours shown in app is way more than the real data.
Kindly fix it

Thank you for sharing the query regarding your Inspire 2.
I suggest you sync your device manually before going to sleep and after sleeping.
In addition, try to restart your Fitbit device as indicated: Tap the Settings app and tap Reboot Device.
