Inspire 2 black screen and stops recording my runs

 So, I have had my inspire 2 for 6months and hadn't  gone swimming with it, the other times it recorded swimming as my exercise when I was playing volleyball.  I water locked it and after 30 minutes  in water I realized  it wasn't responding  as it should. Got an email later that I needed  to recharge it since the battery  was down, which to me was strange because  before I got in the pool it wasn't down.  I put it to charge, it wouldn't, and would only show a smiley face,  for a whole day, but the following  day it did. I say it's half dead because  since then,   nothing shows on it except for the green light, and  funny enough   it syncs records on the fitbit app on my phone. Before this, it would stop recording  my run in the middle  of it, not once or twice.

 Thanks for responding, I tried  to restart  it as you had told me put it still couldn't  work. I contacted the support  team, was assisted and they decided  to replace it.
