Inspire 2 blank screen * restart didn't help

My daughter's Inspire 2 stopped showing anything on the screen. As a first there was a "water lock", but she couldn't manage anything there, screen didn't react on tapping. We tried to restart it with help of charger, but the only result is all-time black screen. We always see smiley, but then it stays blank. We also tried to change watch, design, to wake this up - it shows a tiny line "downloading", but again ends with black screen. It synchronizes, it downloads, but at the end nothing is visible on the screen... Thanks for any help there.

Was it resolved? Mine is doing the same thing.

I did so, in the meantime I wanted to check if community would not have a bit faster solution or advice.

Not yet. I'm in touch with support, still need to take some action for what is required my daughter's presence.

In the end, after many attempts with help of FitBit Support to bring the screen back on, it will be fixed by device exchange, as a part of warranty. Appreciate it.

Has anyone else had this issue resolved without an exchange because I’m having the same issue and am out of the warranty period so Fitbit support says there is nothing they can do. Mine randomly came back on for a short period of time after charging it one night, but went back out by the next morning. I have restarted and changed the face on the app and even did a recent update and it didn’t do anything to help the screen come back on.

No, of course it never came back on... ever. The obsolescence is built in.

Yeah that tracks because this was my replacement after I had another issue with my first one and both only last about 6 months. They offered me 35% percent off a new product after they couldn’t fix it. Why would I pay for another defective product.
