Inspire 2 buttons don't work

I've had my inspire 2 for almost a year and all of a sudden the sensor buttons to wake the watch don't work unless I press hard.  It's extremely frustrating anyone have a fix?

Hi there, @SunsetRunner. Welcome to the Community Forums. Thanks for the details provided in your post about the issue with your Inspire 2. I understand how you must be feeling. 

Is it possible the Water Lock feature was accidentally enabled? That will lock up the screen and side buttons. If that describes your issue, please firmly double-tap the middle of the screen with your finger. If you don't see "Unlocked" appear on screen, try tapping harder. Turning off this feature uses the accelerometer in your device, which takes more force to activate.
