Hi all I hope you can help, I’m not very techy and have just put my inspire on this morning, I’ve not even moved (like literally in bed) and it’s saying I’ve used 600 calories? How do I reset it?

That sounds quite normal.
As well as tracking calories burned through activity your fitbit also tracks your BMR calories. These are the calories you burn just keeping your body alive (even when asleep). They are calculated from your profile settings for age, height, weight etc so you needn't be wearing your fitbit to get them. What you are seeing includes the total BMR calories burned since they reset at midnight and having several hundred by morning is quite normal.

I burn around 1400 BMR calories per day so by 10 am I burn about 600 same as you. It's quite surprising how much energy we use just to keep our body going.
Not sure what you mean about steps seeming higher. Can you elaborate?
