Inspire 2: can't see screen outside

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

Is there a way to make the Inspire 2 screen brighter when outside?   I have the "DIM SCREEN" set to OFF but I still cannot see or read the screen when outside...and it's not even very sunny.  What good is it if I'm outside & cannot read my device?

@Cath1366 Welcome to the Fitbit Community!

Thank you for checking your tracker's settings. Make sure that your tracker isn't in the Do not Disturb or Sleep modes by long pressing the buttons as this will decrease the screen brightness.

Hope this helps.

Truly, you can’t read the screen outside in the sun. I’ve got do not disturb turned off, sleep mode is off, and dim screen is off. I bought this for walks to the beach, swimming outside, but I agree with the OP. What is the use of this as a fitness tracker and clock if I can barely tell the time (or not at all) when I’m out in the sun (and I live in a very sunny place).

I have same problem. Fitbit also won’t pair with my phone. Feel I’ve wasted my money.

I have the same issue, with DIM SCREEN off and sleep off, I can't see this screen outside.  This means, while I am running outdoors, I cannot see how far I have ran.  I so regret buying this thing (but I am stuck with it)

I can’t even read the screen on mine outside on a dull day even when I stand in something like s shop doorway to shield it from the sky.  My husband’s Samsung is really bright and clear whatever the daylight conditions.  Really think this is such a bad fault and would like to know if this is the same for all Fitbit trackers.  If there is one that’s clear to read outside, think Fitbit should part exchange the useless ones for something better on the basis that it was really sold on false pretenses.
