Hello @annemariebrody and welcome to the Help forums.  Please correct me if I am wrong.  It sounds like you did this workout using the auto-recognition feature (SmartTrack).  Yoga doesn't have the motion frequency to be auto-recognized.  You must use the Exercise app with the yoga shortcut for it to get tracked.  The HIIT portion of your workout should get recognized as Aerobic Workout, or sometimes Sport, but the default minimum time to recognize any activity is 15 minutes.  If your HIIT was less than 15 minutes, then that explains why it didn't track anything.  I think these will help you:  How do I track my workouts with my Fitbit device?   How do I track my activity with my Fitbit device?

Thank you for the information. I did press exercise on the fit bit itself when I started but this was the first time I used it so I will look at the links you sent. I can only see 7 exercises on my app rather than 20 which is listed in the link. I think aerobic is the closest. Can I get the other exercises on the app or not?

kind regards

@annemariebrody   There is a section in my first link that has the instructions for customizing the exercise shortcuts.  Here is a link to a very good YouTube video that shows the steps.  This will work for any Fitbit where you customize the exercise shortcuts in the phone app.

From your description, it sounds like you did some, but not all, of the steps to start the exercise app.

Thank you. That is helpful. Thanks to you I can start it logging my exercises but it won't stop. I press the sides and it goes to DND. I keep pressing it and eventually it seems to have an arrow up on the screen that says press to stop but it just goes back to DND. Sometimes randomly it seems to finish.

@annemariebrody, thanks for your reply!

Please ensure that your Inspire 2 is worn properly on the wrist (2-3 finger widths from the wrist). If the buttons are pressed unintentionally this could be the reason why DND mode turns on. Also, water lock feature could be turned on if it's in contact with water as it can activate the button.

Hope this helps!

Was there an answer here somewhere? I didn't see one. I just did a 20 minute aerobic exercise and it did not auto-detect, and it would not let me log it. It keeps saying that I'm logging it in a future date/time but I am not.

I'm wearing it properly according to what I read.
