One day my inspire was fine and holding its charge and the next day, the charge was at 5%. How long is my warranty in effect? How do I fix this?

Hi, @Lojo8 , welcome to the community, You may find this article of interest Why isn't my Fitbit device's battery charging? If you look carefully at the charging cable you will see the two little pins are spring-loaded. They should be free and have the same profile, if this is not the case you could talk to "customer support" if your device is still under warranty with a view to getting a replacement. Alternatively, the charging cables are available on Amazon at a modest price. Incidentally, you may find cleaning the back of your Inspire 2 with rubbing alcohol (Isopropyl 70%) with a cotton wool swab is more effective than soapy water (I give my keyboard, mouse & phone a clean at the same time)
If you are still stuck please post here again.
Cheers

Thank you@Gr4ndp4. Turns out the problem was that my contact points on the back of my Inspire device were dirty, probably clogged with the lotion I had applied after my swim that day. I called Customer Support and they were very helpful (thank you!) and advised me to do this simple fix: clean the back with an alcohol swab. And then my Inspire charged quickly as it usually does. Whew.
