Inspire 2 extended warranty?

Hello,

I am very new to Fitbit. Never had one before. Only reason I have an inspire 2 now is because my health insurance plan offered it to me for free and I was intrigued enough to order one. 

When it arrived, I promptly plugged it in to charge and forgot about it for over a week… oops. 

Fast forward the week of it charging and forgotten + the few days later after I remembered it was charging, created my Fitbit account and started using it and app etc…. now I am 100% addicted to my Inspire 2 🙂 I never knew fitness could be so much fun! I’m very happy with my little gadget, and now I want to protect it as much as I can!

Where/how can I buy the extended warranty?? I only received one offer to buy it… on the same day I started using the app after account creation and nothing since. Of course I X’d out of the warranty offer on day 1, I didn’t want to stare at it every day and I had no idea I was going to enjoy using it so much back then! 


Clearly, I got click happy when setting up my Fitbit profile on day 1. I am regretting that choice now, but hoping to rectify. Seeing as I am brand new to Fitbit and have never owned one in my life… I had no idea the option wouldn’t come back on or be so hard to locate a place to buy one a few days later!

 

I read a post on another device about the warranty only being offered on day 1, 3 and 11? Why no warning pop up asking if we are sure we want to close out of the offer, or in my case, the other 2 chances?? I X’d out of my free premium year on day 1 too and THAT one came back on! Why not the warranty?

 

My Inspire 2 sat plugged in but untouched and unused for roughly a week and then *maybe* 5 days of use had passed when I accidentally clicked off the warranty offer. So by the standards I read about on the other community post, I should’ve received another chance on day 11, but I have not seen another offers since and it’s been about 12 days that I’ve used it religiously. 

So where are my other 1 or 2 warranty plan offer pop ups? Why can’t I find anything to buy one? You’d think Fitbit would want the extra money from selling warranties to people who want to buy? It’s not difficult to prove my device is in y damaged and in working order and still able to be warrantied… just gotta look at all my daily data in the actual Fitbit that’s being synced to the app daily. Or I can send some pics of my device in use lol. Just give me a chance to buy the warranty please! Take my money! Lol

 

Any help is appreciated. I really love my Fitbit and want a warranty! Thanks.

Hi @utbooklady  you can order an extended warranty from squaretrade.com or from Amazon, but only if it's within 30 days of the original purchase and with a receipt.

I actually figured out a different way, totally by accident, to purchase the extended warranty… and it worked! So I have my warranty now and I’m happy  🙂
