Inspire 2 green lights not working

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

Hello,

any tips on making the green lights work again on my inspire 2? I have had it for 3 weeks and the lights just stopped working. 😞 I have tried rebooting it and that did not work.

Thanks!

Welcome to the Fitbit Community, @Audrairene.

Thanks for the details shared in your post and for already trying to solve the issue. I understand how you are feeling about this situation and recommend doing the following:

  1. From your clock face, press and hold the sides of your tracker for a second or two until you see an icon and "DND" underneath.
  2. Swipe up and make sure your tracker is set to On Wrist.
  3. Press the sides of your tracker to go back to your clock face.
  4. Swipe down from your clock face to access your apps (first one is Notifications) and keep swiping up until you see "Settings".
  5. Tap on 'Settings' and make sure the Heart Rate setting is turned on.

For additional troubleshooting instructions, see What factors can affect my heart-rate reading on my Fitbit device?

By the way, I've moved your post to Inspire 2 board so we can keep our forums organized.

I received the Inspire 2 for Christmas and now within less than a month, there is no green light.  It's not reading my heart rate nor sleep information. I'm rather disappointed since my last Alta HR lasted 3 years. I've tried restarting as well as using rubbing alcohol to clean but it's not working.  What else can I try?

I tried this and it worked😊.  I had previously checked the wrist vs. clip setting on my computer and it said wrist so did not expect the setting to be different on the tracker since my tracker automatically sync.

Hi,

are there any other ideas on how to get the green lights back? Iv’e read everything, tried restarting, tried what your post says and still nothing. Everything says the heart rate is on, but it’s gray without the green lights. I just got the Inspire 2 yesterday. Does it take some time to figure out your “routine” or anything?

Hi! I've been having a similar issue with my Inspire 2 that I've had for a week now. I tried holding down the sides of my tracker but it immediately goes to the "water lock" tab, and not to DND. I've also tried rebooting it with no luck. What do you suggest I do?

Thank you so much!! Precious instructions didn’t mention that holding it for a second or two part. I’ve been trying to troubleshoot for ages. Yay!!

But what do if your Inspire 2 is completely dead not reacting to any "press and hold" not connecting to charging?

Best Answer

I followed above instructions. apparently my Inspire 2 was set to 'On Clip". Light is now back on. will know more later if heart rate and sleep are being tracked again.

As I said I followed the instructions, watch was set on clip now is set on wrist. And my sleep was finally tracked again last night. 5 hours sleep!

Night 2 did not track sleep. But light still on

Thank you so much for this! Mine stopped working and I didn't know why. Somehow it was set to clip. I followed your steps and all is well again.

Thank you for this advice, it really works..

I once experienced in my Inspire-2 that LED is not flashing, hence i didn't get any BPM Rate readings.

It turns out that in the quick setting, underneath the "Screen Wake", my setting is "On Clip" and not "On Wrist"

After i changed it to "On Wrist" then the LED start to flash again
