My Inspire 2 has a blank screen after updating the app. I chatted with support. Followed their advice to restart. Get the smiley face but still nothing else. Only solution they now offer is a 30% discount to buy a new one! Don't see why I should have to do that when it was working just fine before the update 😕
Moderator edit: clarified subject.

Welcome to the forums @diborn.
Thank you for sharing the inquiry regarding Inspire 2.
I've been informed that you already contacted the Customer Support team for further assistance with this. Since they already have your case documented, I'd invite you to contact them one more time.

You are past your warranty period I am assuming. I agree with your comments but google/Fitbit will never admit they are at fault. I had a Versa that was bricked after an update and now it is useless. I have an inspire 2 as a gift and once this one stopped working, will not purchase another product from this company. I am 100% that this one will stop working after the warranty ends. I am sorry your device is not working properly.

I’m having the same issue

In other words they’ve outdated it and we have no other choice. Guess I’ll have to go back to my Apple Watch 😡😤

Yes, that's correct - I'm past my warranty period.
I agree 100%. They have not taken responsibility for any of this. I won't
buy another FitBit to replace this one. Would just be a waste of money if
an update can render it useless.
Thanks for your reply. I appreciate it 😀

I did contact them again and their only solution is for me to buy a new
device. I am certainly not going to do that if it can be rendered
useless by an update to their app. What a waste of money! And what terrible
customer service.
