Hi @LGemz18, thank you for joining us in this thread. Also, thank you for trying to get the heart rate tracking issue resolved before contacting our forums.

If you haven't done so, I'd like you to try the troubleshooting steps that are listed in this help article. After this, monitor your Fitbit device during the next 24 hours and see if the issue gets fixed.

Keep me posted on the outcome.

Hi! It’s not on your setting, you just need to hold and release both side of the watch and scroll down. Hope this can help you!

Just saw your question and MikiR's answer is spot on, press the sides of your Fitbit inspire 2 and then scroll down to select Clip and reset mode to "On Wrist", once done the heartbeat tracking will start tracking again ♥️

I just figured my problem out.  I had it set on clip mode and that won't check heart rate.  I don't know how I fixed it, kind of dumb luck I just kept swiping and tapping.  Sorry for my not help.

Hi @SilviaFitbit , I know that  this is an old post, but I am suddenly having issues with my Inspire 2. It is syncing steps fine, but not sleep or heartrate. I tried your steps above, but the only option it gives me is Clip, not wrist. Also, not sure if this is related, but it no longer "wakes" when I turn my wrist. Yes, I have restarted the tracker several times to no avail.

Thanks for any assistance!

@Ozzie65 Hi there. Thank you for the troubleshooting performed prior to posting.

It sounds like the On Clip mode is activated as it's the option you're getting. This could explain why you're not getting sleep or heart rate. To switch between On Wrist and On Clip mode, tap the setting the tap the checkmark to confirm it.

Full instructions can be found on the Product Manual here.

Hope this helps.
