Mine ran out of battery. I charged it when I got home. Woke up and took it off but noticed the time was wrong. I synced it with my phone app and it was normal again, but I noticed there was an update available, which I initiated. After the update, the green light stays on and runs the battery down rapidly. Yet it does not want to display heart rate anymore, even though this light remains on. I tried to turn heart rate reading off and the light still stays on. I turned it back on and it still doesn't read it. I checked to make sure it was set to wrist and not clip, which it was already set to wrist. I restarted it. I cleared user data and re-synced it. I removed the device and re-paired it. I even tried changing clock interface. Nothing is helping. I made sure it's clean too. Nothing seems to change anything.

I just activated my Fitbit yesterday and it did an update. I have not gotten a heart rate monitor AT ALL! Frustrating! It’s brand new!
