Inspire 2 intermittent readiness score

I wear my Inspire2 daily (including to sleep). I only take it off to showe. However, the readiness score doesn’t appear daily. I may receive one 3-4 days in a row, then not have one for anything from 1-4 days, then I receive one. I sleep at least 5.5 hours per night (usually between 6 and 6.5 hours) and always obtain full sleep data and HRV, breaths per minute, RHR and skin temperature. What causes the intermittent readiness scores and how can this be rectified?

Hi, I've been a premium member for over a year (probably closer to two) & have been reasonably satisfied with the performance of my Inspire 2 and the Fitbit app. However, about a week ago, I no longer get daily readiness updates. I wear my device all the time except when charging, it is secured snugly to my wrist and I sleep over 7 hours every night. Why won't the readiness score update anymore?

Welcome back to the community @Ali_63.

Thank you for providing this information regarding your Inspire 2.

Thank you for confirming you've been getting, heart rate data, sleep data and Heart-rate variability (HRV). Please make sure of the following:

  • You must be a Fitbit Premium member using a compatible device. For a list of compatible devices, see Who can see a daily readiness score in the Fitbit app?
  • You must wear your Fitbit device 14 hours per day for at least 4 days and nights. To continue receiving a score, wear your device 4+ nights per week.
  • Make sure you wear your device for at least 1 full day (during the day and to sleep at night), then check your score after you wake up in the morning. To see a daily readiness score, you must wear your Fitbit device for at least 14 hours.
  • Make sure the back of your device is in contact with your skin. The band should be snug but not constricting.
  • Most metrics require at least 3 hours of quality sleep. If you move a lot during your sleep or the sleep session is too short, you might not get a reading.

If you're still not receiving readiness score daily and you meet all the requirements mentioned earlier, please restart your device following these steps.

Hi ManuFitbit

I do all of the things mentioned in your post, and have read that information many times.

I also don’t move much during my sleep - only 4-6% movement is detected each night.

I didn’t receive a readiness score again today and I haven’t taken my Fitbit watch off for several days. When I did take it off, it was only for 10 minutes.

Several days ago a readiness score appeared in the late afternoon.

I have just rebooted my watch, as per the instructions in the link you provided, but I still don’t have a readiness score.

I often need to go to the bathroom at around 4am, then arise at 5.20am to go to 6am gym. I would have between 5.75 and 6.5 hours sleep on those nights. Could this be affecting my receipt of a readiness score?

I didn’t have this issue prior to the Fitbit upgrade, and my habits and awakenings were the same then as they are now.

Kind regards,

Alison

It would be good to understand why the daily readiness score is intermittent. Like you, I am a Premium member and have been for 18 months. The only thing I can think of is that my last period of sleep on many nights is less than 3 hours, but I’m usually only awake for 5-10 minutes (usually closer to 5 minutes) for a toilet break.
