Inspire 2 is not tracking my sleep data

Brand new Fitbit inspire 2 with premium only worn for a week. First 2 nights gave me detailed data with sleep stages, then 1 night with no data at all, then 2 nights detailed but last 4 nights only basic data without sleep stages. I sync it regularly, it’s charged, I’ve rebooted twice, logged in and out of the app. It has no problem detecting my heart rate etc during the day. What else can I do to make it work properly?

Hi there, @sujolo. Thanks for stopping by in the Fitbit Community Forums and trying to troubleshoot the issue with your Inspire 2 before reaching out.

I'd recommend trying the following steps to make sure your heart rate is working:

  • Switch the Heart Rate settings from On to Off and manually sync your Inspire 2. To switch the heart rate settings on your watch, from the main screen of your watch, swipe left until you see "Settings", next swipe up until you see "Heart Rate" and switch it to Off.
  • Once it's done, manually sync your Inspire 2. To do so, open the Fitbit app, tap on the Account icon, tap on your Inspire 2's image and tap on "Sync Now"
  • Next, switch it from Off to On and manually sync your watch once again.
  • Once it's done, restart your Inspire 2 once again.
  • Next, confirm that your tracker is snug on your wrist (the lights shouldn't be visible) We also recommend when you're not exercising, wear the tracker just above the wrist bone.

Bear in mind that if your heart rate is not working properly, you won't receive sleep stages as this data is based on your heart rate readings. For more information, see What factors can affect my heart-rate reading on my Fitbit device?

Additionally, see Why don't I see sleep stages today?

I've moved your post to the Other Inspire Trackers board for organization purposes.

Go to the today page of the Fitbit app.
At the top,to the right of the today title, is an edit button. Click on it.
Scroll to the lower part of the page where it says Additional Stats.  It should show Hourly Steps, Sleep, Weight, Water....      To the right of each there is an ADD button.   Click on that and it will show on your TODAY page and all your past days.

It took me forever to find that...
