Inspire 2 is showing the wrong time

I have an inspire 2 and an iPhone 13 mini. My fitbit is running an hour and a half fast and won’t sync with my phone. I have followed all the recommended strategies. Changed the time zone, uninstalled the app, re started the phone, rebooted the fitbit (several times) turned off the Bluetooth, forgotten the device, nothing is working. Can anyone help?

Hi there, @Vixo. Thanks for stopping by in the Fitbit Community Forums and trying to troubleshoot the issue with your Inspire 2 before reaching out.

To better assist you, please confirm that you've followed all steps provided below in the order listed:

  • Unpair your Inspire 2 from your phone's Bluetooth and Fitbit app.
  • Unpair other Bluetooth devices that you may also have paired to your phone's Bluetooth settings.
  • Force quit the Fitbit app.
  • Turn off other Bluetooth connections when not in use. This can help to prevent connectivity issues or Bluetooth interference.
  • Shut off your phone and turn it on after 1-2 minutes.
  • Turn on the Bluetooth on your phone.
  • Plug it into the charging cable and open the Fitbit app.
  • Set up your Inspire 2.
  • If there is no connection, restart your Inspire 2.
  • Once your Inspire 2 is paired and syncing, please proceed to set up your other Bluetooth devices to your phone again.

With the steps above, what I want you to do is to pair your Inspire 2 first to your phone's Bluetooth settings before any other Bluetooth device is connected to your phone.

Once you manage to sync your Inspire 2, the time should be corrected. Keep in mind that your Fitbit device uses the time of the device you're syncing with.

Thanks for this. I have worked my way through this list and done everything you suggest. However when I reach the setup stage my phone finds my inspire 2 . I input the 4 digits into the app as requested and all I get is “connecting to Fitbit” and the wheel of death. Nothing further happens. I have a good internet connection. My inspire 2 and my phone are next to each other and both are fully charged and connected to chargers. Nothing is working. Perhaps it is time for a replacement as something is obviously wrong. Sooo much time wasted so far and my inspire 2 is still showing 1.5 hours ahead of time. My phone shows the right time . Any further suggestions?
