@1975tn The Do Not Disturb setting doesn't change your screen brightness, but being in Sleep Mode will set it to dim. But it should still be readable without having to go in a closet and shut the door to see the screen. If you can't read the screen in a completely dark room, then I think you have a screen failure. Sorry.

Hi @1975tn. Welcome back to the community.
Thank you for providing the details regarding your Inspire 2 and for trying to fix it on your own.
Please, check if you have the Do Not Disturb mode on. Also, make sure the Sleep Mode setting isn't enabled. For instructions, refer to How do I navigate my Fitbit device?

Thank you for replying. I can't find anywhere on the app about Do Not Disturb. Neither can a see anything about Sleep Mode. Sleep isn't being tracked. I can only see tracking on the app on my phone as it is impossible to read details on the Fitbit

Thanks for responding @1975tn.
Do Not Disturb feature is located in the device itself. Please press and hold the buttons on your Inspire 2. Once the menu appears, tap "DND" to toggle it on or off.
To check if Sleep Mode is on please press and hold the buttons to access quick settings.
Sleep mode turns off automatically when you set a schedule. To set a schedule:
You can't turn on do not disturb and sleep mode at the same time.

Thank you for replying. As I said in my initial post, the screen on my device is almost black and I am unable to read anything.

Hi and many thanks. Now, why didn't I think of that. I took it into a dark cupboard, and with a magnifying glass managed to fix the problem. Not sure how the screen came to be on dim.
