2 weeks ago, while out of town, I took my Inspire 2 off because it was rubbing against a cut. I threw it in my bag for the weekend and when I got home from my weekend my app said that I had ridden a bike for 3.5 hours and even had my heart rate listed. I have worn my Fitbit 1 time in the last 2 weeks but it is still counting steps every day, recording as little as 0 steps and as many as 3,580. Makes it hard to believe any stats it has recorded in the past.

Hi, @K-Ninja , were you taking your Inspire in the bag with you? If your Fitbit moves about it will interpret that movement as steps (as it should!). If you are not wearing your Fitbit it should be plugged in to charge, or placed somewhere away from vibrations that could cause false “steps” to be counted.

It was in my trunk so I can understand that it thought that I was exercising for 3/12 hrs but It also measured my heartrate. It has been sitting on an out of the way table for about 2 weeks and is still measuring steps of more than two and three thousand. Bluetooth has also been turned off.
