Hey folks!
I've had my Inspire 2 for maybe a year now, and I've been getting back into running over the last few months. I noticed, starting last Wednesday, suddenly the fitbit is WAY overestimating my calories burned from previous workouts, but about 500 calories. My milage and pace have stayed pretty consistent the whole time, so it shouldn't be an issue of more vigorous workouts or longer workouts. I am also largely sedentary throughout the rest of my day since I am at home most days and most of my work requires me to be at my laptop. But before last Monday, all the days I went running I'd end somewhere between 2.3k and 2.5k calories a day. Since then it's been 2.7-2.9k a day. I'm only running 3 miles at a time, and again, I'm mostly sedentary so I have a hard time believing I'm burning nearly 3000 calories. And the big, sudden jump has me wondering if something is amiss. Any ideas?

Hello there, @thelovelyliz. Thanks for stopping by in the Fitbit Community Forums and sharing the details about the issue with your Inspire 2.
While reading your post, I was wondering if you've checked that your personal information (weight or other profile settings such as height, age etc) has been entered correctly? If you haven't done so yet, please double check your personal information to see if your weight and height were properly set. To update your profile, see How do I change the units of measurement in my Fitbit account?
Fitbit devices combine your basal metabolic rate (BMR)—the rate at which you burn calories at rest to maintain vital body functions (including breathing, blood circulation, and heartbeat)—and your activity data to estimate your calories burned.
Your BMR is based on the physical data you entered in to your Fitbit account (height, weight, sex, and age) and accounts for at least half the calories you burn in a day.
