Inspire 2 is tracking my heart rate way too off

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

My inspire 2 keeps spiking my heart rate - on a walk once I start it will start rising and the rate won't stop until it hits peak - or if I check just sitting it can just jump up to cardio - but if I check my wrist my heart rate is normal. I wear it correctly I've rebooted it- still happens - it regularly does not record sleep stages

Hi there, @Dee-f. Welcome to the Community Forums. Thanks for trying to troubleshoot the issue with your Inspire 2 before reaching out.

In addition to the steps you've done so far, I'd like you to perform the following steps below for this situation:

  • Switch the Heart Rate settings from On to Off and manually sync your Inspire 2. To switch the heart rate settings on your Inspire 2, from the main screen of your Fitbit device, swipe left until you see "Settings", next swipe up until you see "Heart Rate" and switch it to Off.
  • Once it's done, manually sync your Fitbit device. To do so, open the Fitbit app, tap on the Account icon, tap on your Inspire 2's image and tap on "Sync Now"
  • Next, switch it from Off to On and manually sync your Inspire 2 once again.
  • Once it's done, restart your Inspire 2 once again. To do so, press and hold the left button for 8 seconds while it is plugged into the charging cable as if it were charging.
  • Next, confirm that your tracker is snug on your wrist (the lights shouldn't be visible) We also recommend when you're not exercising, wear the tracker just above the wrist bone.

Test your Inspire 2 the next couple of days to see if you start receiving your data once again. For more information, see What factors can affect my heart-rate reading on my Fitbit device?

As for the sleep stages, please see What should I know about Fitbit sleep stages?
