Inspire 2 is tracking too many calories

Could someone help me understand the BMR? Mine is 1500 which I believe means that that’s how much calories I burn just by being alive including sleeping etc. I know my weight and heigh have been entered correctly.

So why is it that my total calories burned for day are around 2300 to 2500? I’m moderately active (gardening, dog walks, cooking) but surely I can’t be burning a whole extra 1000 calories on top of my BMR? It seems like my Fitbit is wildly overestimating. Please can someone help.
