I woke this morning after 8 hours of sleep per my inspire but it said I had 3400 steps today. How can I get steps after midnight if I am asleep. I have uninstalled and reinstalled, I have check app update, I have changed the face app and restarted my phone. What is the next step to get my fitbit accurate?

Hi there, @Braunwynn. Thanks for trying to troubleshoot the issue with your Inspire 2 before reaching out. I understand where your concern is coming from.

Do you have another app connected to your Fitbit account that will add more steps? Mobiletrack maybe? Low-power step sensors inside your phone track your steps and send the data to the Fitbit app. We recommend using MobileTrack if you forget your Fitbit device at home.

With the above being said, I'd suggest you to check if MobileTrack is causing the extra steps. I've seen many users (including myself) who had have this issue and at the end we realize that MobileTrack was the one adding steps while we were sleeping. It would worth the try to double check this.

In order to negate the steps tracked while you were sleeping, see How do I add, edit, or delete Fitbit data and activities?

Hope that helps.
