Inspire 2 - linked with iPhone 2 - phone now has no sound!

I have purchased an inspire 2 to replace an alta hr. The alta HR worked fine with my iPhone 12. I have not altered any phone settings. The phone still has sound if I click on one of the sound alert as if to change it. The Inspire does not receive notification of messages, although it is set up to do so. The phone does not make any sound when a text message or phone call comes through. I have made sure the inspire is up to date and restarted it. I have done the same with the phone. All to no avail. I have even removed the fitbit app, restarted the phone and still having the same problem. Can anyone help or advise. Thank you

Hi @textmum Notifications can be a bit finiky attires, but when they work they seem to work well. I'd suggest you try THIS Help Article on troubleshooting notifications. Good luck.

Hello @textmum

When your Inspire 2 is on 'Do Not Disturb' or 'Sleep mode' it won't receive notifications. So please make sure those are off.

Recheck your settings:

  • Go to Settings > Notifications > Messages and turn on Allow Notifications.
  • Then, checkmark Notification Center, Lock Screen, and Banners
  • Change the Shows Previews setting to Always or When Unlocked.
  • Use Banner Style > Persistent (default is temporary.)
  • Repeat for the Fitbit app, the Phone app, Calendar app, and any other app that you want to see notifications for on your Fitbit.
  • Finally, confirm that Share System Notifications are on via your phone’s Bluetooth settings > Your Fitbit > System Notifications.
