Inspire 2 no longer tracking my sleep automatically

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I’ve been using my Inspire 2 for several months, only having it occasionally not log my sleep, I bought it to help monitor my sleep problems. Starting Monday it has not tracked properly. It reports that I need to wear it to bed, but I never take it off. It is set to “on wrist”. The past 3 nights I’ve spun it around on my wrist at night, and it did log one night automatically but the wake up time was way off. I’ve been entering rough times in and letting it calculate, and sometimes I need to do this more than once for the analytics to show. Once the times are entered by me, it will usually show the stages and restoration score. I’ve cleaned it and I haven’t been using lotion on that wrist. What can I do to get it tracking automatically again?

Mine was working fine most of the time. I recently added a new device and now it is showing the correct time that I go to sleep but every night it shows that I only sleep an hour and a half which is incorrect. Like you this is one of the major reasons I have the Fitbit and I would like to find a answer to this problem myself

How do you make entries to sleep time on the Inspire 2?????  The only entry point I see is in Target Sleep Schedule. I would love to be able to do this because it thinks I'm sleeping when I'm just lazing around.

I was having problems with Sleep Mode...it kept turning itself off.  I looked in my app and it recorded correctly for the last six nights.  So keep trying.

Settings, up, up

Do not disturb, set to sleep mode ON, tap to select), slide up,

Heart Rate, tap until it says ON, slide up

Sleep mode, tap until it says ON, slide up

Schedule ON (optional), slide up

Sleep Interval (optional)

[Not the most professional explanation, I know]

Then I push the buttons twice and Water Lock pops up.  WTFluck?!?!? Is it in Settings? This is my second post and both mention Water Lock.  Hmmm.  So I'm asking the same question... how do I make Water Lock disappear?  Is it so completely different from a Sport option which is removable and can be put back?  And, did I get the instructions right?

Thank you, Community.

@hilarymconley   I’m pretty sure that “sleep mode” functions similar to do not disturb, so that won’t affect sleep tracking. I have a plus sign or the “…” in the corner of the app when I’m in the Sleep area. It allows me to add a log or edit the one that is there, then I *usually* populates with heart rate and analytics from my Fitbit info. I can adjust my sleep and wake times a bit based on it saying when I was awake. Ive been trying to note when I’m going to sleep so I can add it in the morning because it’s not logging automatically anymore 😞 I wish we could just tip it off with a button click to say “hey I’m going to try sleeping now”. That “begin sleep now” option apparently disables auto tracking altogether, so we don’t want that. I made that mistake!
