Inspire 2 not reading heart rate correctly during exercise

The heart rate red during exercise will either be nowhere near what my heart rate is or will fluctuate from 160 back to 120 in less than 1 min Even though I'm going at the same pace on the elliptical.

@Gatorgirl1992 , A warm welcome to the Community! Thank you for your message and info.

Do you see any fluctuation during the day whiteout doing any activity?
How do the reading look while you don't record an activity

It seems that the heart rate cannot be recognized during your activity.
There are many reasons why this could happen.

The most common ones, are that sweat comes underneath the Inspire 2, so that the heart rate is not recognized correctly.

The tracker moves during the exercise, so that there are no continuous record from your heart rate.

Or the Inspire 2 is too tight or too lose during the exercise.

Having taken these into consideration, please try restarting the tracker.

Turn the heart rate from the settings app on the device.

Sync it with the Fitbit app.

Turn the heart rate on again and don't forget to sync again.
