Inspire 2 not tracking BR, HRV

My Inspire 2 is about 18 months old and no longer gives accurate sleep info. I get just Awake / Restless / Asleep lines instead of Rem / Light / Deep. And it does not feel accurate even at that. Also, it has stopped tracking BR and HRV (Breathing rate and Heart Rate Variability. I get “No Data” reports for those.

I have tried cleaning, multiple reboots, the basics.

It still tracks workouts well but sleep tracking is useless.

Is this a typical end of life spasm?

What is the expected life span for the Inspire 2?

Hi there @wdmccoll!

A warm welcome to the Fitbit Community!

Thank you so much for letting us know that your Inspire 2 is no longer tracking BR and HRV.

I suggest you try to do the following:

  • Log out of the Fitbit app.
  • Delete the app.
  • Reinstall the app.
  • Log in again.
  • Restart your Inspire 2 this way:
    • Plug the charging cable into the USB port on your computer or any UL-certified USB wall charger.
    • Connect your device to the charging cable.
    • Press and hold the buttons on your tracker for 10 seconds.
    • Release the buttons. When the tracker vibrates and shows a smile icon, the tracker has restarted.

I recommend you follow the tips from this article too: What should I know about Fitbit sleep?
