Inspire 2 not tracking sleep. It's adding today's sleep to yesterday's

my inspire 2 logged my sleep from Monday to Tuesday.  Then on Tuesday night, it just added my sleep to the previous day so I have no sleep logged for Tuesday to Wed morning.  My health insurance pays me 5.00 per week if I have 7 hrs of sleep.  When fitbit fails to log sleep correctly, you are impacting me financially.  This is not the first time this has happened.  I cannot override what fit bit has logged.  When I try to edit, it says there is already sleep logged for  that time period.  In the edit, it shows that I went to sleep at 8 on Tuesday night, and awoke at 4:45.  But it claims no data, and my 7 hours from Monday to Tuesday are now 11.5.

Moderator edit: clarified subject.

Welcome back to the forums @catwoman.

Thank you for taking the time to share the details regarding this difficulty with Inspire 2. Sorry to know that you are losing incomes.

Can you please confirm that you're in the correct time zone? Your Fitbit device should sync the sleep data from Tuesday to Wednesday and you must see it as 'today' on Wednesday. Please take a look at this help article: How do I change the time on my Fitbit device?

If this is related to the Fitbit app, please perform the following steps:

  • Log out from the Fitbit app.
  • Force quit the Fitbit app and reboot your phone.
  • Open the Fitbit app and log back into your account.
  • Check if the issue is still happening.
